Buy a Home, Multiply the Impact
- For every home sold November 1 to December 31, 2025 Genesis will donate:
- $1,000 for each townhome.
- $2,500 for each single-family home.

Genesis Builders Group has been an amazing supporter of our organization over the past few years, whether through goods donations or cash donations.
In 2024, more than 27,000 Calgarians were supported by WINS. We provided 54,282 different supports through our programs, gave away $1,000,300 worth of basic-need items, and diverted more than 7 million pounds of goods from the landfill. Seventy-one percent of our employment services graduates secured jobs within 90 days.

What can I donate?
Non-perishable items with current best-before dates (e.g., canned vegetables, soups, pasta, rice, baby formula, hygiene items). Please avoid glass where possible.

How do the purchase-based donations work?
For each eligible home purchase agreement signed between Nov 1–Dec 31, 2025, Genesis donates $1,000 (townhome) or $2,500 (single-family) to a listed partner. See terms for eligibility details.
Can I donate money directly?
Absolutely. Visit our partners’ websites to donate funds directly to them.
Promotion Terms and Conditions:
Purchaser must have entered into a contract with Genesis Builders Group Inc. (“Genesis”) to purchase a new construction single family home between November 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024 (the “Purchase Agreement”) and all conditions in favour of each of the Purchaser and Genesis must have been waived or satisfied on or before December 31, 2024. Provided Genesis has satisfied itself that it will be able to commence construction on the Purchaser’s home within 120 days from the date of the Purchase Agreement and further provided the Purchaser is not in default under any of the terms of the Purchase Agreement, Genesis will make a donation of up to $2,500.00 Canadian Dollars to one (1) of the following charities/organizations, as selected by the Purchaser: Airdrie Food Bank, Calgary Food Bank, Veterans Association Food Bank, Women in Need Society (WINS) and Calgary & District Foster Parents Association. (Each a “Charity”).
In the event that the Purchaser does not select a Charity, Genesis will make the charitable donation to a Charity in its sole and absolute discretion.
Genesis will request that the Purchaser be recognized by the respective Charity due to the Purchaser’s selection and the Purchaser hereby expressly consents and agrees to Genesis’ disclosure of the Purchaser’s personal information to the respective Charity for the purpose of enabling the Charity to recognize the Purchaser. Genesis makes no representation that the Purchaser will be: (i) recognized by the respective Charity; or (ii) entitled to a tax receipt or any personal tax benefit. Only one (1) cheque and on (1) donation of either $1,000 or $2,500 dependent upon home type purchased will be offered per Purchase Agreement. Availability of homes and this limited time offer are subject to change without notice to Purchaser in Genesis’ sole and absolute discretion. This Promotion may be discontinued at any time. This Promotion cannot be combined with other Genesis promotions, incentives, or offers. The Promotion is intended for legal residents of Canada who are over the age of majority and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
